Minneapolis Personal Injury Law Firm
Martin T. Montilino (E-mail martin@uptownlawyer.com) is a graduate of Hamline University School of Law and was admitted to practice in Minnesota in 1991. I practice in the areas of personal injury and workers' compensation. I am a member of the Minnesota and Hennepin County Bar Associations as well as the Minnesota Association for Justice.
My practice involves trial work in the Minnesota District Courts. I have obtained numerous significant settlements and verdicts on behalf of my clients. I was the recipient of the Robert Linn Levine Memorial Scholarship at Hamline University in 1991 as well as the American Jurisprudence Award in 1989. I am the author of "DNA Testing, Use and Admissibility in Minnesota Courts", 11 Hamline Journal of Public Law and Policy, 1990.
I am a Minnesota kid who grew up on the local playgrounds and rinks. I have worked since I was 16 years old. I worked my way through college at UMD and law school at Hamline. I know what it is like to wonder how bills are going to get paid or even where the next meal might be. I understand how difficult my client’s life becomes when they are hurt and can’t work or do the things that they are used to. I understand these things. However, I am very optimistic that I can help people overcome their legal difficulties and I work hard to help people get back on their feet.
I am a family man. I have a wife and two sons. I know that for most people, family is more important than almost anything. On the weekend, I am probably at one of my kid's games or out on the lake fishing.
